Illegal Israeli Occupiers Burn, Destroy Homes in West Bank

(MENAFN) According to reports, illegal Israeli occupiers carried out an attack late Tuesday in the village of Beit Iba, where a Palestinian residence and two vehicles were set on fire. The incident took place in the northern part of the occupied West Bank and was accompanied by further destruction in nearby areas.

As stated by reports, individuals from an outpost established on land belonging to Beit Amrin moved toward the outskirts of the village and carried out the assault. Local residents said they attempted to intervene but were unable to prevent the damage, as the attackers ignited both the home and the vehicles.

In a separate incident, more than 150 olive trees were cut down in agricultural zones known as Khan and Wadi Ali, located southeast of Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya. These actions further impacted local livelihoods, particularly those dependent on farming.

The developments are part of what reports describe as a broader surge in such incidents across Nablus Governorate in recent days.

Additional figures cited in reports indicate that over the past three days, approximately 34 dunams (around 8.4 acres) of farmland in the al-Sahl area have been leveled using bulldozers. More than 500 productive olive and almond trees were also uprooted during this period.

Since October 2023, violence involving Israeli occupiers and forces has intensified, with reports noting that over 1,148 Palestinians have been killed, 11,750 injured, and close to 22,000 individuals detained.
